As of the 10th of May the exhibition Nature will be open to the public. This exhibition has asked us to think about the relationship between Design, Nature and the Future. Through their works, each designer has offered their own perspective on this relationship, and now we want to hear from you. What is your reaction to the exhibition? How does it make you feel? How does it make you think? How are you interacting and engaging with the pieces in the exhibition? How does it relate to your own opinion and understanding of what design is and what it can do?
Cube will be holding a discussion workshop in the Cube design labs at 2:30 PM on the 19th of May to talk about all this and more.
The workshop will be run by Laura Barendregt, a Research Masters student from Maastricht University who is studying the Nature exhibition as a case study for her thesis. The discussion that takes place will be used as data in her thesis and the workshop will be recorded and documented for thesis purposes. All participants will remain anonymous in the final write up. Laura is particularly interested in how visitors are interacting and understanding the pieces in the exhibition. We welcome anyone who would like to share their opinion and experience of the exhibition and contribute to this research project.
- Entrance is for free and will take place in Cube design museum (in the Cube design labs)
- The workshop will be run in English, but participants are free to give answers in Dutch as well.
- The workshop will take about 1-1,5 hours.
