Eternal Player

Anouk, Guang and Jonas

The definitions of eternal varies from culture to culture. By playing the board game we designed, players get the opportunity to experience different eternal lifes, therefore to think about what would the real impact of eternal life be and what problems would it create.

The board is illustrated as an ouroboros snake, an ancient symbol to signifying infinity and the cycle of birth and death. The players will choose which eternal mode they want to try. Under each mode, the player will experience different life elements like wisdom, wealth, health, friends, epoch.

Introduction Anouk, Guang and Jonas

We are a ‘Eternal player’ team made up by three people: Anouk, Guang and Jonas. Anouk studies communication and multimedia design. Guang and Jonas study industrial design.

We were a team while doing internship in Cube lab. We trusted each other and already built strong rapport. And besides, we all have passion about the topic ‘Death’. That’s why we decided to team up again for this redesign challenge.
